USA : Nelson and Belva Stallsmith Scholarship Program

Brief Description

The Nelson and Belva Stallsmith Scholarship is available to high school graduates planning to
pursue any course of study at any accredited institution of higher education. Applicants must be
children or step-children of members of one of the following lodges: Harmony Lodge #8; or
Knights of Pythias Lodge in Westville, OH.
In addition to this scholarship, the Springfield Foundation administers a variety of scholarships to
assist Clark County residents as they pursue education beyond high school.


Deadline

March 12,2010

Eligibility

Applicants must be a US citizen and

1. be a child or step-child of a lodge member in good standing from one of the following:
Harmony Lodge #8; Champaign Lodge #525 in Champaign County,
OH; or Knights of Pythias Lodge in Westville, OH.
2. be at least a high school senior;
3. enroll and complete a full-time program (12 or more hours) each quarter or semester
in an accredited institution of higher learning or post-secondary program, &;
4. have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.50 in high school to apply and a 2.50 GPA in
college (undergraduate or graduate levels) to receive the award distribution.
