Overview
A. I. Johnson was the Speaker of the Minnesota House of Representatives and later a Regent of the University of Minnesota. This scholarship was created for undergraduate students who show evidence of a strong interest in public affairs with an intent to pursue a career or activities serving the public. Such careers and activities may include community volunteer activities, organizing to affect public policy, service on government advisory committees, and appointive or elective office.
Eligibility
University of Minnesota - Twin Cities Campus students who are degree-seeking undergraduates and who possess a strong interest in public affairs and an intention to pursue a career or activities serving the public are eligible and encouraged to apply.
